My grandmother is deceased and my g-pop lives in another state so this is what I would do if they or he was close by. Get them and my self a gift certificate to a restuarant, either their fav or something new they might like, let them know you got yourself one too! Pick them up or if you can afford it in a limo and join them for that dinner. Time is the best gift to give g-parents. They are the most special people on earth and should always be cherished. Hope this helps! Merry Christmas

Well K,
Since I know your grandmother is a big perv, you should get her something funny from Spencer's (flavored lotions, warming gel). You know she would get a big kick out of it...then, in a small gift bag give them a certificate to get massages or to a day spa for a day of pampering.
Love,
Bern

My grandmother was the same way. We used to take her to dinner. Also, so many grandkids she didn't have enough time. Some of us gave her stamps, acme gift certificates. Sometimes giving them something practical helps them feel like they aren't wasting money.

A couple of good gifts that I give my Gram are: once again, a gift certificate to lunch or dinner; her favorite scented candles; and she's really into birds, so I've been getting her bird food, feeders, flowers that attract certain birds...etc. Hope that helps!

All of my grandparents are VERY hard to buy for. I've given up buying "traditional" presents for them a long time ago. This year, we're giving my one grandmother a great picture of all her grandkids & spouses that we had taken at a recent wedding. (Why not a good pic of you and Mike that you put in a nice frame?) For my other grandparents, we just made some homemade candy. When you think about it--it's the thought that counts.

When my grandma was that age we got her a basket with her favorite specialty foods that she could not go out and get. You know the one that is not in the regular grocery store. Also if they like fruit a nice small fruit basket.
